Susan Feller is an artist using traditional handcrafts to archive current events. The slow process of pulling fabric into loops with a hook, threading a needle and stitching, even drawing a design onto a loose weave canvas allows time to think about the subject and the audience. Communicating the message with simple motifs, colors, and techniques is the goal.

Her hope is the exhibited work spurs conversations about the subject or memories of making.
